What am I learning?

Well.

Everything isn’t a rush. Everything isn’t as fast-paced as I thought it had to be. A little here and there can suffice. It can go quite far. It truly is about the bigger picture. If I only read a sentence rather than the page, or just enough to get the context of the point being made, it’s enough. It’s enough because of the fact that I started. A little goes a long way because eventually you do reach the point where everything comes together. Rather than focusing on the point where it all works out better than you imagined, it’s critical to put all your energy into the moments leading up to it—despite not knowing when, where, or how it’ll pan out. I just wrote a paragraph describing faith—a point made countless times in the Bible. It’s faith. It’s discipline. Consistency. Anything worth having requires work. Everything takes time. I say all this not because I’m good at it, but because I’m not. I’m leaving this here as a reminder. To myself and to you that a foot forward is a step in the right direction. So what if you get overturned or delay. Just don’t delay for too long and try.
